Policies of Operation for Faulkner Lake Orchard Wedding and Event Center
POLICIES:
 
Booking Date:

A $500.00 deposit is required to secure the Booking Date.  This payment is non-refundable after 14 calendar days from the signed Contract.  Balance must be paid in full 60 days prior to the day of the Event. 
Checks should be made to Faulkner Lake Orchard Wedding and Event Center.

Faulkner Lake Orchard Wedding and Event Center will provide the site for the Event.  All other services shall be the responsibility of the client.

Liability:

Faulkner Lake Orchard Wedding and Event Center is a working orchard and farming operation and is not responsible for any liability that may arise from the use of the facilities or the grounds by the client or their guest.  The client agrees to hold harmless in every way  Faulkner Lake Orchard Wedding and Event Center, employees, vendors, owner et al.   Faulkner Lake Orchard Wedding and Event Center will assume no responsibility for theft of any property that is brought, lost or left behind.
Security, Damage and Cleaning Deposit:

A $500.00 deposit is due 30 days prior to the Event.  This will be refunded within 7 business days if the property is left clean and litter free, in accordance with Faulkner Lake Orchard Wedding and Event Center.
Payment Methods:

We gladly accept cash, check and all major credit cards.  There is a return check charge of $35.00.
Usage of Venue:

(12) hours TOTAL usage of Venue.
 
  • (5) hours for rehearsal.
  • (7) hours for ceremony/reception, photos and departure.
Decorating can be done the night before if Venue is available and inclusive of rental cost.
Alcohol Policy:

If alcohol is to be served, both the alcohol and bartender are the responsibility of the client.  Alcohol can only be served by an approved ABC licensed bartender.  Faulkner Lake Orchard Wedding and Event Center can provide a list of bartenders upon request.  A security guard is also required to be present when alcohol is served.
Smoking:

Smoking is permitted in designated areas only.  Guests are reminded to properly dispose of tobacco waste.

Fireworks:

Fireworks are not permitted on the premises.

Insurance:

Client will provide a general liability policy with Faulkner Lake Orchard Wedding and Event Center named as insured in the amount of <______> prior to the use of the Venue.

Subcontractors/Vendors:

Faulkner Lake Orchard Wedding and Event Center will not be held responsible for hiring subcontractors
(i.e.. photographer...) and will not be held responsible should they fail to perform their duties.  Subcontractors must also follow rules and regulations.
Minors:

Minors must be fully supervised with no running allowed on the premises. 
Faulkner Lake Orchard Wedding and Event Center is not responsible for the conduct of client's guests when on the premises.
Personal Items:

Faulkner Lake Orchard Wedding and Event Center is not responsible for any damaged, lost or stolen items brought to our facility.
Cancellation Policy:

A deposit of $500.00 is non-refundable after 14 days.  If the Event is canceled 30 days prior to the date, client will be responsible for the entire balance.  If notice is given within the 90 days prior to the event, client may reschedule within one year or payments may be refunded excluding your $500.00 non-refundable deposit.
